Intelligence

I think intelligence plays a very important part in this game. First off, several of the challenges involve puzzles or brain teasers of some kind. Second, you need to be street smart, as well and be able to tell who is in alliances together, and who might be playing against you on your team instead of with you. Another thing is, you need to be smart enough to know who to make an alliance with. In my opinion intelligence is necessary to win the game.

free write

This week on Survivor. The reward challenge was the grossest thing i think i've ever seen. Apart from what i've seen on fear factor,  because they have some pretty nasty stuff on that show too. The contestants had to eat Survivor smoothies. The worst one in my opinion was the slug guts. Especially mixed with water, come on jeff cut them a break and at least distort the color a little bit. Galu won the challenge though because Ashley just couldn't get it down. She had one tiny chunk left, but the players on Galu wouldn't stop taunting her. This was a challenge that was strictly mind over matter, and Ashley just couldn't do it. next up was the immunity challenge, and Galu succeeded in that too. When it came to getting the coconuts in the basket, they were just horrible. Again poor Ashley couldn't even make one basket. Speaking of immunity. Liz called Russle Hanz out on having found the immunity idol. Looks like Russle might be in trouble.

True colors

In this episode of survivor, Galu took their first trip to tribal council and sent home my contestant Yasmin. I think that Yasmin's main color is orange. I think she's an orange because she is really competitive, and she competes well. Also, she really doesn't like routine, she did what was asked of her and no more than that. For example, with helping around camp. When they asked her to do something she did it without complaining, but then they were upset that she didn't take the initiative to help out more on her own. She's competes well, like in the challenge today, she  was able to help keep her team in the lead until Monica went, and slowed everyone down. Which ended up making them lose the challenge completely and going to tribal council. Another thing that makes me think that Yasmin is an orange is because she knew her name was being thrown around to go home, but she wasn't worried, and figured whatever happens happens. Which is an attitude normally associated with the color orange.

defense mechanisms

In this episode of survivor things did not go good for foa foa yet again. They lost another challenge and had to send another team member home. Luckily for my girl Yasmin, her team has been competing and getting along very well. The team member chosen to be sent home was Ben. Throughout this episode, and previous episodes i noticed that Ben uses defense mechanisms. It's nothing to ashamed of, we all use them. I observed that he used denial at tribal council. Jaison called him out on how he treated Yasmin, and he denied it simply saying that he wasn't being racist, he was just being honest, and that if someone is from the ghetto and someone talks like trash, than he's going to call them ghetto trash.
