FINALE!

I think tribal council went well. I honestly think of the final 3 Natalie was the one who deserved to win. She gave up a lot to just even go on the show, and she is absolutely right that her strategy was no different than Russle's, hers just wasn't as obvious. All three of the finalist had very different ways of presenting themselves. Russle made it out to look like he was just playing the game in his best interest, which he was, but not when it came to the jury. Mick however just did his best to convince the jury that everything was Russells fault and that he himself was simply just a pawn, like the rest of the people sitting on the jury. However if Mick was simply a pawn in Russells game, why is he sitting beside Russell in the run for a million dollars? i think Natalie deserved to win. She played the game, she stuck it out on the island, and competed in the challenges, she worked her and she won. I don't think the jury voted for Russell because he lied, and screwed people over, you can't screw someone over and expect them to vote for you to win a million dollars, that just doesn't happen. I most likely would have voted for Natalie, simply because she was the most deserving, she won fair and square, where as Russell won by doing unethical and immoral things as Erik said, he was basically rewarded for doing wrong things.

Final Five

I think it would be very difficult to separate emotions from the game, because obviously you're going to find people that you do like. Voting them off probably is hard, but it's the game, you can't like everyone and everyone can't win. I think that a real friendship could maybe form, depending on how understanding the two people are, because at one point they're gonna have to vote for each other. When that does happen whoever goes home is going to be upset, the question is will they forgive the person who decided the vote? I think the statement shambo made was nice. She finally completely came out and admitted that she screwed her team over. However she isn't sorry she did, so i feel like her statement was just a compliment to Brett, and not even the apology that she owed the rest of Galu.

moral dilemna

I do not think it is possible for people to actually form real friendships on this show simply because there is to many paranoid people. No matter what we're all a little paranoid, and for most of those people, being in a competitive situation like survivor, they're always going to have in the back of their head that they might get screwed over if they trust anyone. I think it must be pretty difficult to have to vote out someone that you've made a promise to. i know for me i hate going back on my word because once you lose someone's trust it is 10 times harder to gain it back which is another reason i don't think you can have real friendships in this game, because sooner or later you're going to have to vote your friends out. In my opinion i don't think keeping promises in a game like this is very important. You didn't go on survivor to make friends, you came there to win a million dollars, and if that means stepping on someone else's toes to get it, then so be it.

self awareness.

Honestly i do not think i would spend all my money on an advantage in the next immunity challenge unless i felt like i was in jeopardy of going home. Jaison really had no reason to waste his money like that. He should have gotten himself some food. John however, really could of used that advantage, although I'm not sure it would have helped him very much he dropped out pretty early. In this game, a shower is not a high priority. given the chance though for only 140 dollars of 500 i'd probably take one too. Although it in no way would approve my game, sometimes a shower just regenerates you, and makes it possible for you to keep going. Honestly i probably would have chosen the same way as John. He's out there, he's been playing hard, and he's hungry. He really had no choice but to take the pie for himself. all those other contestants if placed in the situation probably would have made the same decision john made. Self preservation above all else. I think it was good of them to send John home though, even if their reasoning was stupid. The way he betrayed Laura last week was just not cool and he deserved to go home. i just feel bad that Erik, Laura, and Kelly are stuck with him now.
